Celeros Adds Snapshots, Microsoft® Windows Storage Server™ (WSS) Support, And Other Advanced Features To Its Popular EzSAN™ Line Of Low Cost IP SAN (iSCSI) AppliancesRedwood City, Calif., October 3, 2005 — Celeros Corporation®, a leading provider of iSCSI-based storage appliances for the small- and medium-sized businesses (SMB), today announced the expansion of its popular EzSAN™ line of appliances with two new series that package features targeted at different customer environments, needs, and price points. The new XL and XW Series continue to provide excellent price performance value proposition pioneered by the existing XR Series. In addition they add features such as support for Multiple Scheduled Snapshots and Online Volume Expansion (XL Series) and compatibility with Microsoft® Windows Storage Server™ (XW Series). Other features such as Adaptive Load Balancing, Multi-Level Management, Secure Socket Layer and IP-Sec round out the feature set to deliver a secure, high performance, and full-featured iSCSI platform to Celeros customers. EzSAN XW Series:XW Series runs Microsoft Windows® Storage Server OS and provides enterprise level SAN Filer services for Windows environments.
