Celeros SmartSAN was designed to address the challenges facing growing but cost conscious organizations with increasing need for high speed, scalable and highly available centralized storage. In response, SmartSAN delivers a highly efficient high performance storage appliance that is not only reliable and highly available, but is affordable, has very low maintenance and ongoing operational cost and is simple to operate. Designed for continuous operation, SmartSAN provides an ideal SAN environment for virtualization and data consolidation.

The cornerstone of SmartSAN platform is a redundant, modular system design with no single point of failure and ultra low power consumption. SmartSAN family combine next-generation 6Gb/s SAS backplane, dual port SAS drive technology with high speed 8Gb/s Fibre Channel (FC) or Gigabit iSCSI host interfaces in single or dual controllers configurations.

SmartSAN XT23S-FC has four 8Gb/s FC ports on each controller for a total of eight 8Gb/s FC ports in active-active dual controllers configurations ready for the most demanding performance. SmartSAN XT23S-iSCSI has four 1Gb/s iSCSI interfaces in single controller or a total of eight 1Gb/s iSCSI interfaces in active-active dual controllers configurations for a great performance.
